Grade 3 Students Proudly Present the Early American History Assembly

Fall Sports Sweep

Congratulations to the 7-8 soccer team and the 7-8 volleyball team. They both placed first in the IISL 2014 Tournament. The soccer team also received the 2014 League Trophy for having the best record. Congratulations to both the boys and girls cross country team. They had a wonderful 2014 season. Boys placed 2nd out of 8 teams, bringing home the IISL Runner Up Trophy. Will Rose placed 1st out of 62 runners. The girls Cross Country team placed 5th and did very well individually.

SRES Hosts Authors 

Jon Klassen & Mac Barnett will also be visiting and signing books at SRES on Monday, October 20th starting at 12:45 p.m. Two children's book creators whose books have, collectively, spent 115 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, have teamed up for a second time on a picture book, due from Candlewick October 14. Mac Barnett (co-author of Battle Bunny) and Caldecott Medalist Jon Klassen (This Is Not My Hat), are collaborating on Sam and Dave Dig a Hole.
