SRES Alumnus Christian Browning Gives 2013 Commencement Address

On the rain soaked morning of May 31, an SRES alumnus brought a few rays of sunshine into Trinity Episcopal Church.  Christian Browning, SRES Class of 1989 and co-founder of successful telecommunications companies Bluefish Wireless and MOBI Wireless, delivered a sharp, insightful and funny commencement address of the 2013 graduation ceremony at SRES.  While grey and dreary weather raged outside, the mood couldn't have been more joyful inside the walls of Trinity.

SRES 5th Grade Travels to France

Late last night Indiana time, 20 SRES 5th graders and three chaperones landed in Lambersart, France, located outside of Lille, to begin the second leg of the French Back to Back exchange program.  The students will spend the next two weeks living with a host family, going to school and experiencing the sights, sounds and culture of Northern France.  Students from France visited SRES earlier this spring.  The French Back to Back exchange program is a proud SRES tradition stretching back more than 20 years.

4th Grade Shark Week

On Friday, May 18, St. Richard's 4th Grade students capped off "Shark Week" by dissecting real sharks in the cafeteria.  This activity followed a deep curriculum that included learning about several shark species and building scale models that have been on display in the school library.  Follow the link to see more photos of the dissection and the impressive models!
