Borrowing Policy

PreK-4 students keep their library books at school, but all other students may take their library books home. Books are checked out for one week and students must return their books in order to be able to check out more library books. The books may be renewed if they are not on reserve. New borrowing limits have been set and are as follows: Early Childhood - 1 book; Grade 1 - 2 books; Grades 2 & 3 - 3 books; Grades 4, 5 & Middle School - 4 books.  Exceptions are made when students need books for research. We do not charge fines for overdue books, but we do charge for books that are lost or damaged. The charge for fiction books is $10.00 for a paperback and $25.00 for a hardback. The charge for non-fiction books varies from $25.00 - $75.00.
