Definition of the Global Readiness Pillar

 

The Global Readiness Pillar at St. Richard's School strives to prepare our students to:

  •          Ultimately and actively participate on a global level through a depth and breadth of awareness,   understanding, and knowledge.
  •           Seek out and understand the local, national and international factors and cultures impacting their world.  
  •        Navigate freely and successfully in an increasingly complex living and working world.

 

 

Proposed Outcomes of the Global Readiness Pillar

Graduates of St. Richard's School will demonstrate:

  •             A strong sense of their own identity, history, and culture.
  •            The ability to communicate with and understand people from other backgrounds, countries and cultures.
  •         Knowledge and skills which will enable them to be successful among international contemporaries and in high school inquiry into the history and geography of the world, and the study of global issues and cultures.
