 Greetings! Thank you for your interest in St. Richard's Summer Camps! In giving your child a summer camp experience, you are proactively working to stimulate growth and confidence in your student's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional health. At St. Richard's, we strive to partner with our families to provide the best summer experience for each camper.
The Summer Camp Program reflects the school's values by designing week-long camps rooted in discovery of academic areas such as reading and literacy, social studies, science, and the arts. We also recognize that summer is a time for kids to relax and explore new experiences. In short, we believe each child should have the opportunity to experience success. St. Richard's School offers a variety of fun and educational opportunities for the summer. These camps provide children with enriching experiences and give a peace of mind that their summer will be spent in a nurturing, safe, and educational environment. Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Extended Care is also available each day before camp from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, and after camp from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
 Camps are open to children 4 years old through 8th grade. Children are divided into age-appropriate groups, and are involved in activities and field trips that focus on the chosen theme for the week. Camps are structured so that the campers enjoy at least two field trips each week. We also spend a few afternoons a week simply enjoying the fact that it is summer. We have Water Play Days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, weather permitting, and the campers enjoy time on the slip and slide, in the mini pool, and running through the sprinklers. It is our hope that these diverse themes engage and challenge campers in areas appropriate to their developmental level. Each child has unique needs, and we hope that, as you consider your summer options, you and your camper find these programs fitting to your interests.
